A native of Cornwall, Dr.Poirier followed his undergraduate studies at Carleton University in Ottawa with his major being in psychology and his minor in science. He then went on and graduated from West Coast University in Los Angeles in 1992 specializing in health sciences. He completed the 4500 hours of training and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West in San Francisco.

Personal
On a more personal level, Dr. Poirier was born and raised in Cornwall,
a former student of La Citadelle but was then offered the privilege to
attend private school for his grade 13. He's had the opportunity to live
(and study) on both sides of the continent. In Ottawa, Los Angeles for 1
year, Oregon for 3, as well as San Francisco. Upon graduating, he
decided to come back to the east coast and open his practice in the
Montreal area and after having over ten years of successful practice, he
saw an opportunity to come back to his home town and settle down once
and for good. His wife, Ginny, has been by his side since they met in
1996 and they married in Cornwall in 2000. "Dr. P", as everyone calls
him, has three children...Crystal, Zachary, and BJ (but he likes to be
called "Benny"). |
